Jeff Goldberg was raised in a traditional Jewish home in the Detroit suburbs and played football while attending the University of Illinois at Urbana. He received his degree in Business Administration from the Gies College of Business (B.S. 1978) and had successful careers in restaurant management and as a district manager in the financial services industry. 

Jeff also obtained a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield and is currently working in administration at his undergraduate Alma Mater.  He has been affiliated with Global Sports and Burning Bush Ministries since 2006.  Jeff has traveled with Dr. Jeffrey Siegel to Ukraine and the Philippines for the ministries.

Jeff is a musician, author and has a great passion for live theater. He has produced dozens of plays, concerts, and musicals in the central Illinois area and is the founding president of the Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company (CUTC), a community theater group.  

Goldie, as he is known to his friends, became a Jewish Messianic believer in Jesus in college and has been sharing the story of God’s love and redemption for over 40 years.  He has 3 grown children with wonderful spouses and several grandchildren. Jeff attends Meadowbrook Church and resides with his beautiful wife in Champaign, Illinois.
