Justin Hixson
Director Western United States
Thank you so much for choosing to donate! I am grateful for every gift given to the work of Go Global.
Justin Hixson represents Global Sports in the Western United States and California since March 2012. Justin played baseball at California Baptist University as a pitcher, where he was voted most improved as a freshman. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Public Relations from California State University San Bernardino. Because Justin loves sports and strives for professionalism, he also earned a master’s degree in Sports Management from California State University, Long Beach.
Justin Hixson was named as an Assistant Coach for CSU Bakersfield Baseball on September 1, 2021. His responsibilities will include coaching Roadrunner pitchers and catchers and assisting in the recruiting process. Prior to CSUB, Hixson was a member of a CBU coaching staff that guided the Lancers to Division I membership. He mentored five All-Western Athletic Conference arms and helped the staff to 75 victories and league-best earned run averages in 2019 and 2021. Prior to working with the Lancers, Hixson spent three seasons as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator with Biola University, leading a pitching staff that saw consistent improvement each year.
Justin joined Global Baseball because he is passionate about serving God and loves doing it through sports. Justin’s responsibilities with Go Global Ministries include development and recruiting. He organizes groups to join Global Sports trips to facilitate the ongoing ministry projects. He has been concentrating his efforts on working with donors who help the organization. As Justin raises financial support for his own ministry, he has been able to travel with Global Sports assisting and leading overseas projects in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Israel.
Justin, his wife Mindy, have two daughters Payton and Sawyer currently live in Bakersfield, California.
