Jessie A. Patiluna was born a Roman Catholic with his parents serving in Couples for Christ Movement in a remote area of Glan, Sarangani Province in Mindanao, Philippines. In 2002 Pappo Jet received the calling from God to become a minister. Since then, few more signs from the Lord that lead him to where he is right now - serving in the Kingdom of God.

He taught in a private school in Gensan, Holy Trinity College of GSC in 2010-2015 where he honed himself in crafts like dancing, cheerleading & coaching cheerleading itself and other sports like Gymnastics doing choreography, composing songs (with over 14 composed songs now), photo editing, music remixing and event organizing in which most of these talents and skills, he is effectively using today in the ministry of the Lord. In his last year in that school, he met his wife-one of his cheerleaders, Lyza Mae L. Patiluna, and through her, they started serving the Lord together. And when he transferred to another private school teaching college courses, he managed to create a campus ministry in the school, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges.

Pappo Jet is making an impact on the local community and local churches today since he is handling the Encounter God Retreats all over the region of Sarangani including General Santos City and some areas of South Cotabato. He has planted 1 daughter church in the capital of Sarangani Province and 6 more house churches all over General Santos City and other parts of Sarangani Province as well. He managed to develop 5 pastors already under his leadership and church program with the help of Oasis Overflow Community Church International under the late Rabbi Joel Jimena-a friend of Dr. Jeffrey Siegel.

Burning Bush Ministries was able to help him build churches in Sarangani Province and is still planning to expand in the neighboring regions. Under the said ministries, most of his church leaders are now undergoing some mentorship and discipleship. He is now supervising the 7 churches they have planted together with his wife & family, and church leaders while doing an Online Show of Gospel Preaching every day via Facebook at the same time. Jessie Patiluna is married to Lyza Mae L. Patiluna, and together they have three beautiful daughters.
