Dr. David Levine
Thank you so much for choosing to donate! I am grateful for every gift given to the work of Go Global.
Dr. David Levine was raised in a traditional Jewish home in Youngstown, Ohio, and stayed in Ohio for college at Case Western Reserve and medical school at The Ohio State University. Following his pediatric and neonatology training in Phoenix and LA, he and his beloved Suzanne spent two years in Oxford where he did fetal research. Upon returning to the States, they lived in Charleston, SC, Cincinnati, and Jackson, TN, where David held numerous faculty and leadership positions before moving to Columbus, GA. There he is the medical director of the Regional NICU and Associate Clinical Professor at Mercer University. His passion is quality improvement, and he is a leader of perinatal quality activities in Georgia.
Soon after David met Suzanne, she opened the door for him to meet Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, and he has been a "completed" Jew for more than 30 years. He is part of the local family of Christ at First Baptist Church, where he sings in the choir. His life verse is Romans 8:29-30.
David has served on numerous boards of directors, including Cincinnati Dreams Come True, Kiwanis Center for Child Development (chairman), Caring Partners International (first board chairman), Ronald McDonald House of Columbus, and The Springer Opera House, Georgia's State Historic Theatre.
David met Jeff Siegel in 2000 and has been part of Global Ministries since that meeting. In 2018 Jeff asked Dr. Levine to start a medical ministry within Global, and he is now the Medical Director of Global Medical. He has been on numerous trips to Israel and Cuba and plans to travel with Global as we extend our reach to other nations.
The love of his life, Suzanne, passed in 2020. David continues to serve with Global and loves to spend time with his grown sons and grandchildren in Georgia.
