Dr. Jeffrey Siegel
Founder and President
Jeff Siegel is the founder and President of Go Global Ministries. He was born and raised in a Jewish home in Chicago. Jeff came to faith in Jesus as Messiah in 1976 while playing and coaching at the University of Illinois baseball program. This decision made a big impact on his life and family.
Jeff has a unique background in both, business management and professional baseball. He had a rewarding management career with ServiceMaster. He worked as a professional instructor with the Doyle School of Baseball. For some time, Jeff scouted with the San Diego Padres and was privileged to make many connections in the world of baseball.
In 2000 Jeff decided to develop the Global Youth Baseball Federation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to achieve his desire to work with young people across the world and share the good news through sports. Jeff’s personal ministry developed over the years took him across the globe and eventually, others have joined his cause. Global Baseball grew into Global Sports, and finally into Go Global Ministries. Global Sports makes a lasting impact among many nations through baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, and other sports opportunities. Additional ministries under the umbrella of Go Global Ministries are Global Medical and Global Transportation and Humanitarian Aid.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education at the University of Illinois and a Master of Arts in Management of Organizations from Southern Wesleyan University. Jeff also graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree at Biola University in Messianic Jewish Studies and his Doctoral Degree in Global Leadership at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. Jeff is married to Terri and together they have 3 children, Melissa, Joseph, and Benjamin.
