Ben Votipka

Ben Votipka oversees Global Transport, the logistical and humanitarian aid arm of Go Global Ministries. He was born number 12 of 13 kids to strong Christian parents in Nebraska. Ben came to faith in Jesus as a young man growing up on a thriving dairy farm. This decision made a big impact on his life and family. Ben has a unique background in the military, civilian aviation, and logistics. He had a rewarding 30-year military career serving around the world and in combat zones. For close to twenty years, Ben has worked as a commercial airline pilot in the role of Captain and Instructor/Evaluator.
Quite the avid traveler, Ben has been to all corners of the world. He has worked with many nationalities and coordinated logistics to be used in a wide variety of missions. He has ministered many years through Christian mission trips, both local and overseas. He also works with a Post Prison Ministry and 501c3.
Captain Votipka earned his Bachelor of Professional Aeronautics Degree at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Arts in Airport Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University International campus. Ben is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Command Pilot, Master Parachutist, Airline Transport Pilot and Captain/Check Airman, Certified Flight Instructor, and over 15,000 military and civilian Flight hours (that equals 1 year and 9 months in the air)
Opie, as he is known by his Air Force pilot friends, has three grown sons with wonderful wives and is expecting his 10th grandchild in August 2022. Ben attends Redeemer Church and resides with his loving wife in Nashville, North Carolina.
